The hops are very pretty and surprisingly colorful. I hope you're having a good week so far, Ellen.
A young friend of mine who lives in Sonoma, CA is growing hops. I had no idea they look like this, though. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos, Ellen. Wishing you a happy week. xx
HOps are beautiful - I love the leaves too. So decorative.
Thanks for the lovely picture of the hops. I have heard of them but never seen any. I also loved the picture and your write-up about the crookneck squash.
I agree, hops can be really pretty. There are wild hops growing in the hedgerows along the lane and I often add a few to autumn flower arrangements, the constituent parts of which are also mostly foraged for.
They're lovely! Did you make a hop pillow for yourself? (Do they really work?)

Wow, those look really pretty in a bowl!! Your leaves are also amazing.. you found a wonderful collection of them.. I love the Gingko leaf. We are not having a problem with fruit flies.. and we always have a bowl of fruit in the kitchen for the boys.. sorry you're having them! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
