Sunday Stroll.........Redux

I know that many, many people had such a heartbreaking weekend, and will have months and months ahead of them filled with loss and pain. My heart goes out to them and my prayers for healing. May there be all the assistance they require, solace in such hard times, and hope for a bright and safe future.

What a perfect stroll today. I love each of the photos so much.

I can understand why you would be unhappy about the approaching change in seasons. It's hard to give this current state of things up.

I was thinking today how sad I would be if I lived in Texas. Not only at the thought of losing my home and the fear of weathering the storm, but also because I looked in my freezer today and wondered how devastated I'd be if all my hard work was ruined because there was no power to keep things frozen. Though it does seem trite to say that out loud as there are many things I would be more sad to lose. What tragedy people face and overcome.

Ellen, hi! My laptop with your email address on it died a couple of days ago. This morning your package was sitting on our livingroom table! Thank you sooooo much for the wonderful bookmarks! Thank you for the charming and wondeful book! What a treat! You are amazing at embroidery-what skill and joy. Many, many thanks! Sarah

Yes, I've been thinking of those in harms way as well. Are these photos taken with your new camera? Visually delightful again, but they seem to have a new crispness to them. You have a great eye for detail!
