Holding On To Some Old...

Welcoming In The New...
Old photos that give me joy.
Saying goodbye to September.
September that brought such beauty
and some difficult times.
I greet October.
She will come with such loveliness.
I do know this.
Slanting light that limns.
Cold mornings and warm days.
October gathers her palette
and holds her brushes
so softly as she touches
each leaf and the sky
with her sweet and soulful hand.
best, e.

And where did the year go?

Stunning photos - and I love the mouse (vole?) - with its tiny tail curled around and such beautiful fur.

I hope October goes better for you - how is the foot?

The changing of the seasons, the shifting of the light, the turning over of the mind. Sending you warm thoughts and cozy hugs to send you into fall.

So good to see you're back!! Your pictures are amazing, I know I've said it before, but you have such an eye for beauty! And a sense for colours and combining them.
Hope your foot's better - sending some 'good-foot-thoughts' your way!!
Wish you a happy and lovely October. Ellen :)
