Mmmmmm....Baked Doughnuts...

Boiled my own cider.

Went crazy for the wonderful aroma in the house.

Boiling cider takes hours.

The cider was delish..the baked doughnuts

so, so......but worth the drifts of warmth and

delicious scents on the late fall day.
What could be better than the wood stove, the scent of cider, 
Jane Austen and furry big dogs?
(Well, maybe fried doughnuts.)
Or donuts as some prefer...

I took these pictures on the 4th. The clouds moved in seconds after I took the shot of the moon. Actually, I think that's God's toenail peeking out of that blue sky.
